I began working with Lakeshore Eyecare Center in 2016. I'm proud to say I completed my undergraduate degree at Grand Valley State University (B.S Biomedical Science 2010) and then went on to optometry school at Ferris State University's Michigan College of Optometry (High Distinction, O.D. 2014). I elected to continue on in my education and specialize in pediatrics by then completing a Pediatric Residency at Ferris' Michigan College of Optometry.

After completing my Residency, I underwent the fellowship process to further my education and professional involvement by becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. I remain involved in many optometric organizations which includes serving as Vice President for the Michigan Foundation for Vision Awareness, where we strive to support education in the eye health field, optometry students, and vision awareness for all ages. I thoroughly enjoy my career and am happy to be a part of a team that provides comprehensive eye care to West Michigan.

I enjoy walking my golden retriever, swimming, drawing, and enjoying the company of friends and family while enjoying our wonderful view of the lake.
